In 2005, ACCA members secured influential appointments on committees of the International Federation of Accountants. Laura Ipacs was appointed to the International Accounting Education Standards Board, Japheth Katto to the Compliance Advisory Panel and Zbigniew Bak to the Professional Accountants in Business Committee.
